1 - 3 Nov 2002. Cave Lake Park (Pike County), New Trail. The Whites sold their Cave Lake property to the West Virginia YMCA a couple of years ago. John King, Manager, and Larry, Program Director, are doing a comprehensive trail management plan for the park. The American Discovery/Buckeye/North Country Trail wants to play a significant role. My plan for this weekend is to construct new trail through woods between the eroded service road that BT now follows and the ridge line trail above Hopek Hollow. Camp in drive-in Class B camping area. Showers will probably be available in the main campground.
