21 - 22 Sep 2002. East Fork State Park (Clermont County), Maintenance (tentative). Work on American Discovery/Buckeye/North Country Trail. Improve foot only trail west from Mounds Picnic Area towards the Perimeter Trail. Camp in family campground at East Fork State Park, probably in the Group Loop.
4 - 6 Oct 2002. AEP ReCreation Lands (Noble County), New Trail. Continue to open new trail (Buckeye Trail only) north of Campground K to C-20. We will do some benching and install blaze posts on trail that is already open but has not been "completed". We will then move across C-20 and build new trail towards Hoskinsville. Camp at Campground K off T-13 west of Hoskinsville and east of SR-83 just north of Renrock. Site has mineral water and privies. You may want to bring water for drinking. Bring shower bags along with your other personal camping equipment.
18 - 23 Oct 2002. Scioto Trail State Forest (Ross County), New Trail. Build new tread for American Discovery/ Buckeye/North Country Trail from near the site of the former air strip through Ankrom Hollow and Webb Hollow to join foot trail on South Ridge Road. This improvement will eliminate 1.3 miles of road walk from Scioto Trail State Forest. Camp in the southeast corner of the former air strip off Bethel Hollow Road which in turn can be reached by continuing west a couple of miles on Stoney Creek Road from Scioto Trail State Park.
