After completing the Sea To Sea Trail (Trans County Trail), the goal of the Sea To Sea Trail Foundation will be to create a network of interconnected trails crisscrossing the lower 48 states of the United States. Trails will lead directly or indirectly to the nation's major trails, such as the Appalachian Trail, the American Discovery Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail. The STSF's first area of focus is San Diego County.
Their Web site doesn't appear to currently show any trail construction or maintenance activity.
