3 - 10 Sep and 10 - 17 Sep 2011, Sat - Sat. Pacific Crest Trail at Deep Lake. Okanogan-Wenatchee NF, Cle Elum RD. (Difficult 8 mile backpack.) Situated along one of the prettiest stretches of the Pacific Crest Trail, Deep Lake will be your base camp for the week. With Mt Daniels providing the backdrop for camp situated in the meadow, this trip is sure to please lovers of Lakes, Mountains and berries. Thats right, it should be berry season in the high county. Yum. The PCT between Deep Lake and Cathedral Rock is in dire need of some WTA love. Drainage, tread work, structure repair and brushing on on the menu. You can expect some elevation gain a few miles traveled each day. This is one of our Volunteer Vacations. There is $235 fee ($195 for WTA members). You will be required to fill out an application form including your outdoors experience and medical history before we can allow you to join the trip.
