25 Jun 2011, Sat. TMTA at Oak Creek Canyon. Ridgecrest BLM, near Tehachapi, CA. Join the Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association (TMTA) for the day as they de-berm, brush, and restore OHV trails that cross the PCT. No experience necessary, all skill levels are welcome! Lunch, tools, and training are provided. Volunteers need to bring boots, long pants, water, daypack, and the willingness to get dirty and have fun! The hiking distance from the trailhead to the project site is 0.1 to 3 miles. Volunteers will meet at 9 am at the intersection of Cameron Road and Tehachapi-Willow Springs Road.
