PCTA North Cascades Region: Trail Keepers of Oregon
pcttko01

21 Aug 2010, Sat. Cape Horn. Columbia River Gorge NSA, WA Side. Greetings Hiking Enthusiasts and Trail Volunteers! Do you want to enjoy the outdoors and hike one of the newest Forest Service trails in the Pacific Northwest? Then come and join the Trailkeepers of Oregon and the Washington Trails Association as we co-host a volunteer work party at Cape Horn. Located on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, this 7-mile stretch of trail has benefited from some excellent attention this summer, and now it's your turn to contribute. Come join us for the hike, for the scenery, for the camaraderie, or to work up a sweat: inspecting and brushing away encroaching foliage, but do come out! NOTE: This event can have a maximum capacity of 12 participants, so sign up soon! All experience levels are welcome! We'll provide hard hats, tools, and your training. You provide the time and willingness to be safe, have fun, and do a little work! For additional information, please contact our volunteer coordinator: joseph.ammons@trailkeepersoforegon.org .
