18 - 27 Jul 2011, Mon - 2nd Wed. Reds Meadow Part 2. Inyo National Forest, near Mammoth Lakes, CA. Volunteers will accompany a Student Conservation Association crew as they log out and remove blowdowns on this beautiful section of trail. The crew will car camp at a developed campground. This project is rated as intermediate (volunteers will need to hike 0.1 to 4 miles to the worksite each day at 7000 ft elevation). Volunteers can also take advantage of the surrounding lakes and creeks for swimming and fishing. There's also excellent hiking.
