This is an opportunity to join with a Student Conservation Association trail crew on a re-route of the PCT in Vasquez Rocks County Park. Five volunteer positions are available and you can choose between working the full project or joining it on weekends, or even one-day projects on 9, 10, or 16 April. We will car camp in the County Park within 1-2 miles of the project sites. Work can include new trail construction, trail rehabilitation and improving current trail tread. Fitness Level 1 applies, meaning that the trail work is suitable for a wide range of abilities, with elevation change of less than 500 feet. No prior trail experience is necessary and beginners are welcome. You will work among neat rock formations and local history; often times with a film crew doing work in the park.
