3 - 6 May 2010, Mon - Thu. Belden North 1. Plumas NF. Located in Plumas National Forest, near Belden, CA, volunteers will join the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship crew to log out a portion of the PCT and conduct general tread maintenance. The crew will stay at Belden Campground, a developed campground, and hike 2-9 mi daily to the worksite. Elevation will be between 2500 to 3500 ft. No experience necessary; tools, training, and food will be provided. This project is recommended for volunteers with advanced fitness levels due to significant elevation change and/or strenuous work activities. Advance registration is required.
