3 - 5 Jun 2011, Fri - Sun. High Cascade Forest Volunteers (HCFV) Trail Skills College. Allingham Fire guard station in Camp Sherman. TRAINING EVENT. The PCTA and HCFV will conduct a joint training and certification program at Allingham Fire guard station in Camp Sherman (Near Sisters).Tent camping is provided on the station grounds; RVs can be parked on the property but there is no hook-up or power available. Due to the remote location, full meal service is provided. In addition to the Trail Skills College, certification courses are offered in First Aid, CPR and saw certification. Instructors are provided from the trail volunteer community, PCTA staff and National Forest Service employees. Sanitation is restricted to porta-potties and hand washing stations.
