22 Mar 2008, Sat. North of Cascade Locks. Due to recent tree fall, the PCT just north of Cascade Locks is nearly closed. We need 5 volunteers to help clear trees and do other trail maintenance work. Meet at the north end of the Bridge of the Gods - 9 am. Volunteers need boots, long pants, long-sleeve shirt, and gloves. We will cut and remove branches, cut back brush, berries, and vine maple, and finish the day widnting tread. Bring a lunch and water; there is no drinking water in this section.
