Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. And now for something completely different!!! Roberta and Ruth have come up with a great idea. It's called "Magical Mystery Trails". While the PCT is sleeping up above under the snow, you'll be working on trails in the Columbia Gorge, so snowshoes aren't required. The mystery is you won't know what trails you'll be working on, or what you'll be doing until the week before. Well, we now know that 7 Jan will be on the Eagle Creek Trail, fixing up the area around the bridge, then clearing the slides farther up the trail, and clearing culverts. We don't know what the magic is (maybe it's Roberta's homemade cookies), but it sounds like a great way to start the new year. Crew Leaders: Ruth Weston and Roberta Cobb.
