26 - 29 Aug 2010, Thu - Sun. North Ebbetts Pass. Humboldt-Toiyabe NF, Near Markleeville, CA. This Project will entail reconstructing a switchback just N of Hwy-4 along with some light brushing and tread work both N of the highway and S of the trailhead. Volunteers should arrive Thu pm at Bloomfield CG, 1 mi E of Ebbett's Pass on the Highland Lakes Rd, where we will have our camp. We'll work Fri, Sat, and half a day on Sun. Meals will be provided; volunteers should have their own sleeping gear and personal hygiene items as well as gloves, long-sleeved shirts, pants and stout leather boots (hard hats will be provided). Remember, the project is at 8800 ft so come prepared for the elevation and sun. Advanced registration is required.
