18 Jun 2011, Sat. Carson Pass Northbound. Eldorado NF: Amador RD, near South Lake Tahoe, CA. The PCTA volunteer crew will perform tread maintenance, clean and repair drainage structures, and open the trail corridor to standard using hand tools. Ten volunteer positions are available; trail crew leaders are John and Jan LePouvoir, PCTA Volunteers. Fitness Requirement: Level 2. Intermediate fitness levels. Project may include moderate hiking of 1 - 3 miles from camp to the project site, moderate elevation change over 500 ft and/or moderately physical work activities. This level is suitable for most volunteers who are in good physical condition. Most people who are physically active can perform at this level. Questions? Ready to register?
