14 - 18 May 2011, Sat - Wed. Section "F" Saint Johns Ridge. BLM Ridgecrest, Map F7. Area was previously burned 3 or 4 years ago leaving numerous burned hazard trees to remove and tread work to repair erosion from barren hillside on 1-2 miles of trail. Need 4 certified sawyers and 4 tread repair volunteers. A cook would be nice. We'll camp in an established camp site. Water is available for washing and cleaning but we will bring drinking water. Previous years there has been a portable potty at the camp site. This is in the Piute Mtns. at an elevation of 6,500 ft. Weather is generally good this time of year but could be cold.
