2895. 16 - 25 May 2008, Fri - Sun. Golden Oak Spring. Section "F", BLM, Ridgecrest DCA Maps F3-5. We continue this project to brush and rehab the trail on the Sky River Ranch Wind Farm. We have about 13 mi of trail to cover. Our camp is behind the locked gates of Sky River Ranch so leaving or arriving mid project will have to be scheduled in advance. Need 12 volunteers, Campy will be cook. FALC isn't necessary at this time. We will rendezvous at the intersection of Sand Canyon Road and Tanganda Road on Fri 16 May at 10:30 am to convoy to Sky River Ranch. Take Sand Canyon Road exit off Hwy-58. Sand Cyn is 1/10 mi W of the exit on the N side of the Highway. Drive 5.2 mi N to Tanganda Rd. It is over one hour on good dirt roads from here; GAS up in Tehachapi or Mojave.
