29 - 31 Jan 2010, Fri - Sun. Tool School. Stoke's Ranch Near Temecula. We all know the difference between a sharp tool and a dull one, a tight tool handle and one that's loose or broken, a chainsaw that starts right up and one that will pull your arm off. Spend a couple of days with us to learn that tool maintenance can be fun, and take home useful skills for keeping trail equipment functional and safe. We'll show the safe use and repair of Austens, crosscut saws, chain and brush saws, Griphoists, Pionjar hammer drills, and the Boulder Buster. Bring your own machines that need cleaning and tuneup, tools to be sharpened, replacement handles for tools that need them - and we'll make them all good again. Once more, Ladd and Jill Stokes have kindly offered to host this session. Ladd's RV can sleep several, or car/tent camp. Food, snacks, and refreshments are provided. Arrive mid-afternoon Fri. First meal is Fri dinner (elk provided by Bill Carter). Sat breakfast, lunch, and dinner (sent by Joyce Fish), and breakfast and lunch on Sun. Workshop starts at 8 am and ends at 4 pm on both days. Driving directions to Stoke's Ranch . Contact Pete Fish, Tel.: 805-658-6540, Email: pickaxepete@sbcglobal.net or Ladd Stokes, Tel.: 952-676-4897, Email: rugermodel1@verizon.net .
