PCTA Trail Project: Ebbetts Pass South to Noble Lake,

Purpose: removal of downed trees, brushing, tread repair. An enjoyable time with great weather for our crew of six. We cleared five blow-downs (thanks to Pete Fish), plus numerous leaners. Our lopping and pruning crew (Pat, Tim and Kathleen) brushed and cleared four miles of trail, restoring the equestrian corridor. The heavy construction crew (Warren, John and Bill) restored three sections of tread (two sections had completely sloughed off) on the volcanic rock slope north of Noble Lake. We all had lots of tread clean up, boulder moving and rock crushing to produce gravel for the water crossings. Image numbers vary but are in correct viewing order.
