Washington Trails Association is a volunteer-driven nonprofit membership organization working to preserve, enhance, and promote hiking opportunities in Washington state through collaboration, education, advocacy and trail maintenance. A Trail Work tab on the WTA Web site leads to one-day work projects. It takes study to zero-in on the projects specifically devoted to the PCT. However, most PCT trail work interest is found in week-long "volunteer vacation" work parties. These include all food and cost $165, $125 for WTA members. The WTA is a big supporter of the Pacific Crest Trail: WTA PCT Projects.
