Founded in 1957, the Student Conservation Association (SCA) is America's largest and oldest provider of conservation service opportunities, outdoor education and career training for youth. Conservation crews most often perform labor-intensive, backcountry trail projects. Usually, the National Trail custodial organizations who wish to engage SCA help with a project, for example, the PCTA, will make the project arrangements directly.

Join SCA and the Pacific Crest Trail Association (PCTA) for a week of fun and service in the Sierra Nevada or Cascades. The projects will utilize SCA trail building experience to provide much needed repair on sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. Come to renew your love for this wonderful National Scenic Trail or to build a new-found relationship.

The SCA supports the Pacific Crest Trail in several regions: PCT Projects Database
