aboutpatc04

Southern Shenandoah Valley Chapter. SSVC is a chapter of PATC based in the Southern Shenandoah Valley. Many of our members are from the Harrisonburg-Staunton-Waynesboro area of Virginia. We hike every 2-3 weeks, alternating Saturdays and Sundays. Most of the time we hike in the George Washington National Forest or Shenandoah National Park. Anyone is welcome to join us for a hike or for a worktrip. Our chapter maintains a 5-mile section of the Appalachian Trail in the Southern Section of Shenandoah National Park. There is a downloadable hike schedule available in SSVC page of potomacappalachian.org. Questions? Contact President Mark Gatewood at mwgatewood@gmail.com.
