The Central Texas Trail Tamers is a group of ready volunteers from the general public of Central Texas who donate their time and effort to build and maintain hike and bike trails. Their mission is to lessen the burdens on the government by participating in approved trail construction and maintenance projects that enhance public access to and enjoyment of environmentally sensitive public parks and preserves. The CTTT is interested in working outside of Texas and have worked projects on the Colorado CDT/CT. In 2005 they spent a week working on the Pacific Crest Trail in the Sierra Nevada.
