Stretching from Denver to Durango, The Colorado Trail (CT) fulfills the dreams one would expect of a high mountain educational and recreational hiking trail which connects 500 miles of Colorado's magnificent mountainsides. The Colorado Trail is maintained by a non-profit Foundation. It is governed by public agencies and private sector representatives. The Colorado Trail Foundation recruits and trains volunteers for trail construction, coordinates the Adopt-A-Trail maintenance program, and distributes information on The Colorado Trail activities, trail crews, and publications.
