The Backcountry Horsement of California is a non-profit organization of BCHC members who are dedicated to preserving the public's traditional use of recreational saddle and pack stock in the backcountry. Through education BCHC encourages its members and the public at large to use our public lands, the back country, and wilderness resources. In cooperation with the various governmental agencies, BCHC members help preserve and maintain the back country wilderness for the enjoyment of future generations using saddle and pack stock.
